Fifty five miles for my fifty fifth birthday.  I rode my 1972 Ellis-Briggs this year, the first quality bike that I had, and still the one that I like the best.  I didn't know how I would do this year since most of my rides have been under 30 miles, but the distance wasn't a problem.  I was lucky to get what may be the last really nice day of the year - partly cloudy and in the lower 70's.  They say that next week will be in the 40's and rainy.  So now I'm all worked up and ready to pile on some miles but looking at bad weather on the way.  So it goes.

Found this blowing up the driveway yesterday, it must have been for me

Nathan gave me five scrach-offs, three of them were winners

Song of the day: I'm So Glad (Skip James) Wynwood Music Co. Inc. (BMI) (as sung by Cream on their albums Fresh and Goodbye)
I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad
I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad

Don't know what to do, don't know what to do,
 Don't know what to do
Tired of weepin', tired of moanin', and I'm tired of groanin' for you

I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad
I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad

Tired of weepin', tired of moanin', tired of groaning for you
Don't know what to do, don't what to do,
 Don't know what to do

I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad
I'm so glad, I'm so glad
 I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad
