Here's a collage of pictures I took on my Thanksgiving 1999 hike at Lake Georgetown. It's pretty representative of Central Texas Hill Country, and gave me an excuse to play with my original Vivitar 3000 digital camera. Newer photos are taken with a Fuji 1300. The amazing MUD rain of 1/22/99. West Texas comes to visit the hill country with a passing front. Fits right in with the drought, floods, record heat, smoke from Central America, and freezes of the last year. |
| What shall we say, shall we call it by a name? As well to count the angels dancing on a pin. Water bright as the sky from which it came And the name is on the earth that takes it in. We will not speak but stand inside the rain And listen to the thunder shout I am, I am, I am, I AM! Let It Grow - Grateful Dead |
